Downtown Lexington, Missouri

Saturday, September 23rd

Lafayette County produces more apples than anywhere else in the state of Missouri.
So it only stands to reason that Lexington, Missouri would be the natural place

to celebrate our bounty.

Our Apples Arts & Antiques Festival, held on September 23rd, is celebrating its 20th year. Our historic downtown comes alive with the sights, sounds and smells of Autumn. Live music, apple-themed food, antiques from all over the area and an art show with local and regional artists.

This year, we've created an even bigger festival to celebrate our 20th year. We're expanding our family-oriented Build A Scarecrow. We're hosting a brand-new BBQ contest, apple pie eating contest, plus more. And of course, street vendors will line Main Street with all kinds of wares.

We're busy assembling this event now and we still have vendor space available. Give us a call at 660-259-3082 or email us for more information. And keep watching this space; we'll update it periodically as we add more attractions.

Apples & Apple Treats

Returning this year, the Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce will again be cooking up all things apple! Apple wood smoked dogs, brats and apple dumplings will again be available on Main Street!

Several local orchards will also be selling fresh apples plus you'll find pumpkins, mums, cornstalks and other items to create Fall decorations for your home. There's no better place to get ready for Fall!

Antiques & Collectibles

Always a hit with those looking for treasures, antiques vendors line our downtown Main Street with all types of collectibles, furniture, glass and smalls...just waiting for you to discover and take home.

Items will displayed both outdoors on Main Street and also in an indoor venue. There's no telling what will show up...which is half the fun! Come find something unique!

Arts Show

See the work of some of the most talented local and regional artists at this judged Art Show. The Youth Show will also return to make this year's edition bigger than ever!

Last year over 600 people viewed the exhibition and were treated to a wide array of creativity.

Want to enter your work? You can register online and be a part of this year's show!
